Felicia Rosenfeld remains purposefully involved in the performing arts and community building as a worker, mentor, advocate, philanthropist, audience member and true believer in equity and the power of the arts to make all things better.

Felicia Rosenfeld, through FARconnector, serves as a mentor, thought partner, organizational catalyst and strategist, working with creative organizations, individual artists and community-based entities to attain organizational wellness and professional health. She is the creator of deft (Dance Executive Fellowship Team) a fellowship nurturing thoughtful talented arts executives committed to staying in the sector. 

 

Felicia has been active in the performing arts and social justice communities for a long long time. As Executive Director of Dance Resource Center, the service organization for dance in the Greater Los Angeles Area, Felicia professionalized a 30-year-old all-volunteer organization making it a leading example of an arts service not-for-profit. After serving as Executive Director, Felicia spent four years as DRC Community Advocate. Before DRC, Felicia worked at Pentacle (DanceWorks, Inc.) beginning as an intern and ultimately serving as Co-Director. Felicia practiced law in the areas of civil rights and intellectual property, and then served as Director of Product Development for Civic Research Institute, a publishing company focusing on the criminal justice and tax systems.

 

Felicia currently serves on the Board of Directors of Arts for LA. Her past service includes the Dance/USA Board of Trustees (helping create and co-chairing the Committee on Equity, Inclusion and Diversity), Pentacle Board of Directors, Show Box LA Advisory Board, The Ford Theater Connector Council, New Roads School Board of Directors, Trash for Teaching Board of Directors, Koreatown Youth & Community Center Board of Trustees, WAA 2016 Conference Host Committee, and Wilshire Boulevard Temple’s Karsh Social Service Center Steering Committee.
